Trainings: Controlling Invasive Plants, June 15 and 18

The National Park Service, George Washington Memorial Parkway, is offering training sessions on controlling invasive plants. There will be one virtual classroom training and one in-person training for field work at two different times.

Virtual: Wednesday, June 15, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

In-person option 1: Saturday, June 18, 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., meet at Daingerfield Island Greenhouse

In-person option 2: Saturday, June 18, 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m., meet at Daingerfield Island Greenhouse

This training is specifically for those who have signed on or will be signing on as volunteer Weed Warriors at our National Park Service sites.  Training details, confirmation, and cancellation notice (in case of weather) will be emailed to the those registered for the course.
